Hindu Students Council: A Network of Hindu Students and Young Professionals
Hindu Students Council (HSC) is one of the largest Hindu youth organizations in North America and is an international forum that provides opportunities to learn about Sanatana Dharma. Over 130,000 students have participated in HSC activities since its inception in 1990. Following the example from universities in the US, HSC chapters have popped up in other countries, including Canada, Trinidad & Tobago, and India.
HSC gives students the opportunity to think of creative ideas and put them into action. Students put on events that include lectures, study groups, pujas and celebrations. In fact, HSC is an organizer of the Youth Track of the World Hindu Congress.
HSC includes students of diverse backgrounds and abilities. Undergraduates, graduate students and young professionals from different countries and backgrounds are welcome to learn and participate. By tapping into HSC’s network, students can learn about a myriad of conferences, summer camps, and cultural opportunities.
